Cómo llevar un look ladylike?

Para llevar un look ladylike primero debemos saber cómo se define este estilo tan dulce y coqueto. Sus características lo precisan como muy femenino, romántico, sofisticado y sin excesos. Si tuviéramos que nombrar a una persona que englobe todo ésto, sin dudar hay que poner a la actriz norteamericana Grace Kelly, quien en los años 50 se destacó en elegancia y clase al vestir.

If you want to wear a ladylike look, we need to know in first place what is the definition of this sweet and flirty style. Some of its characteristics are: very feminine, romantic, sofisticated and without any kind of excess. If we need to name a person that gathers all those adjectives, unquestionably I would say the american actress Grace Kelly was a perfect reference, because during the 50´s she stood out in elegance and class. 

Como ya sabemos que la moda siempre vuelve y está reinventándose a través del tiempo, hoy en día muchas prendas se mantienen bajo este concepto. Podemos encontrar así vestidos ceñidos a la cintura; faldas ligeras pero con volumen, cuyo largo va a la altura de las rodillas y con una cintura alta y marcada; tops ajustados, simples y sensuales sin ser reveladores. Los estampados florales en colores neutros o pasteles también son parte de esta tendencia. Los complementos son muy sencillos y finos (las perlas reinan aquí y lo vintage le presta muy bien) al igual que el maquillaje, que debe ir muy cuidado pero bastante natural para dar protagonismo al outfit. A fin de cuentas lo que se busca es lograr un estilo muy girly, minimalista, que resalte tus atributos a través de la ropa sin mostrar demasiado para verte como toda una dama que no deja de lado su femineidad.

It is already proven that fashion always returns, reinventing itself as time goes on, so nowadays many pieces keep this concept. We can find then dresses adhered to the waist, skirts over the knees made with light fabrics to add movement and simple but sexy tight tops. Floral patterns in soft or neutral colors are part of this trend too. Accessories must be fine and plain (pearls are a great complement as well as vintage ornaments). Makeup should be executed very carefully to have a natural finish. Remember that clothing is the main focus here. I am proud  of  this  garment, due  to  the  fact it  was  designed  and made in our country by a local brand  of Anzoátegui: Gantes Couture. I  have been  following it  since its very beginning on June 2016, and  I can tell  it has been  working really  hard  to  produce, evolve and  innovate. I want to express my gratitude to María de los Angeles Gantes, its  fashion director, because  she   has given me a lot  of support  and also  thought  about me to wear this beautiful outfit.
