Celebra y reconéctate con tu femineidad

"Una mujer que se quiere es poderosa e imparable".

Con esta frase que leí hace poco (lamento no recordar el autor para citarlo como es debido) quiero abrir el post de hoy, agradeciendo también la llegada de un nuevo mes que viene con todo! Así que bienvenido Marzo!

With this quote I read recently (I forgot the author´s name and I´m really sorry for that) I want to begin the new post on the blog, being also thankful for the arriving of a new and wonderful month. So, welcome March! 

El 8 de Marzo rendimos tributo al empoderamiento femenino, esa palabra tan de moda que resalta las virtudes de cada una de nosotras. Creo que la rutina de la vida diaria ha hecho que nos olvidemos del importante papel que jugamos en la sociedad. A nivel familiar, en el caso de mis lectoras mamás, haciendo de nuestra casa un hogar y al mismo tiempo criando, enseñando y educando con amor a nuestros hijos. En el caso de las solteras guapas de esta blogósfera, apoyando y siendo las mejores hijas y hermanas. A nivel laboral, llevando a cabo importantes roles con vocación para resolver problemas de trabajo, gerenciar, diseñar y crear, entrenar y ayudar a otros. A nivel individual dando el 100% para ser la mejor estudiante de la clase, la mejor profesional, la mejor amiga, la mejor persona. Pero en el fondo...que hay de tí? De tu esencia femenina? De tu interior?

On March 8th we celebrate female empowerment. Those are a couple of words unquestionably in style that emphasize the virtues of each woman. I believe our daily routine has done we omit the important role we play in this society. Regarding to our relatives, for those moms readers around here, building lovely homes and at the same time, raising, teaching and educating our children with love. In the case of my gorgeous single ladies who belong to this blogosphere, supporting and being the best daughters and sisters. In our jobs, attending and solving work situations, managing, creating, designing, training and helping others. As an individual, giving 100% to be the best student at the university, the best professional in the office, the best friend, the best person. But, deep down, what about you? What about your female essence? 

El primer amor que toda mujer debería tener es el amor propio. Querernos y aceptarnos tal como somos es un requisito indispensable para proyectar el amor hacia los demás. Para eso tenemos que conocernos y tratarnos bien. Por qué? Porque una mujer que se conoce vive desde su autenticidad, desde su femineidad, no imita a ninguna otra. Una mujer empoderada es, definitivamente, aquella que sabe como manejarse, que ha roto sus barreras internas y que se ha reconectado con su verdadera esencia. Particularmente en lo personal he pasado por un proceso de depuración, que me ha permitido crecer y desarrollar la suficiente confianza en mí misma para saber lo que quiero en esta etapa de mi vida y estar hoy aquí con ustedes. Hace algunos años ni me pasaba por la cabeza desarrollar esta faceta comunicadora. Y que mejor expresión que la moda para decirles cómo me siento? 

Para ello escogí una prenda ultra femenina: un vestido en uno de los diez colores que la casa Pantone ha escogido para este 2017: lapis blue. Este es un azul klein fuerte y llamativo, muy favorecedor. Transmite tranquilidad, paz e intensidad y además es sinónimo de elegancia. Demás esta decir que esta pieza me hace sentir increíble: regia, magnífica, segura, sexy y poderosa. Creo que se nota! 

The first love a woman should have is self-esteem. To love and accept ourselves in the right and exact way we are is mandatory to project love around us. To do that, we need to treat us well. Why? Because a woman who knows herself lives from her authenticity, from her femininity and doesn't imitate other women. An empowered lady is, definitely, one who knows how to handle herself, somebody who has broken her inner barriers and has done a connection with her own essence. Particularly, I have passed through a purifying process that has allowed me to grow and develop enough confidence to know what I want in this stage of my life and be here with you. I never would have thought to write and have my own blog if I have never lived what I have experienced in recent years. And what a best manner to use fashion in a marvelous way to express myself?

For that reason I chose an ultra feminine piece: a dress in one of the ten colors Pantone has selected for this 2017: lapis blue. This is a strong and flashy klein blue, very flattering. It transmits calm, peace and intensity and besides, it is a synonym of elegance. This attire makes me feel incredibly well: regal,  magnificent, secure of myself, sexy and powerful. I believe you notice it!

Ver este vestido fue, como casi siempre me pasa, amor a primera vista! El escote en la espalda es bastante sensual porque enseña una cantidad balanceada de piel y las mangas bombachas le dan el toque de modernidad y movimiento que generalmente busco en una prenda. Cuando voy de compras escojo comodidad y holgura. Nadie luce bien llevando algo rígido o demasiado apretado que impida caminar o movernos bien, porque eso se refleja al momento de vestir. Los zapatos altos en coral le dieron al look el complemento de color perfecto para destacar aún más la tonalidad del vestido. Los accesorios fueron todos metalizados: un mini clutch con cadena al hombro, zarcillos largos (muy en tendencia) y anillos grandes plateados.

As usual when I go shopping, it was love at first sight when I saw this dress! The sexy back is perfectly balanced, because it shows the precise amount of skin and the baggy sleeves give the fair movement and the modern touch I generally search for in my clothes. I prefer being comfortable. Nobody looks good wearing something rigid or tight enough not to let us walk naturally. The rest of the outfit was composed by coral-coloured high heels that added a pop of color to enhance a little bit more the hue of the dress. Accessories were all metallic: a mini clutch, trendy long earrings and big rings.

Con este artículo busco rescatar tu yo interior. No se trata de ego, sino de recordarte lo que vales de una manera bonita y positiva. Recuerda siempre que la única competencia que tienes es contigo misma. Por eso te digo: celébrate, quiérete, perdónate, ámate, sonríete, regálate, cómprate flores, consiéntete, edúcate, cuídate, supérate, valórate.  Si estamos bien desde adentro, lo estaremos y transmitiremos por fuera.

What I want with this post is to rescue your inner self. It´s not about egoes, but to remind you in a positive and beautiful way you are worthy. Always remember: the only competition you have is with yourself. So, celebrate yourself, love yourself, forgive yourself, embrace yourself, look for a present you always wanted, buy flowers for you, pamper yourself, educate yourself, take care of yourself, appreciate yourself, surpass yourself. If we feel good inside, we will reflect that outside.
