No tengo que ponerme!

A cuántas nos ha pasado que nos paramos frente al clóset buscando alguna combinación "mágica" para vestirnos que nos ayude a estar regias en una reunión de trabajo, una tarde de café con las amigas, una fiesta o simplemente en nuestro día a día? 

Nos sentimos frustradas al pensar que entre todas las piezas que vemos ninguna nos sirve! Yo también he pasado por eso (y al menos una vez al mes me sigue dando el ataque, lo admito, jajaja, porque al igual que ustedes sueño con tener un guardarropa inmenso!) pero no se preocupen, que la idea de hoy se basa justamente en reutilizar dos prendas de un look que vieron por acá hace un par de semanas. Las reconocen?

I have nothing to wear!

We have been there, right? Asking that question in front of the wardrobe, with our minds gone blank, trying to look for that magic outfit that let us be amazing in a work meeting, a party, an afternoon tea with some friends or just in our daily routine!

We feel frustrated when we think that all those garments don´t match with the occasion we need to attend. The same problem happens to me at least once a month, hahaha, because we, women, live the same old story: dreaming of having a huge closet! But don´t worry. Today´s look is based on the reuse of two pieces I showed a couple of weeks ago. Can you recognize them?

Si dijeron que sí a la chaqueta de denim junto con el top gris, felicidades! Ellos vuelven a ser protagonistas en esta propuesta que hoy acompaño con una preciosa falda estampada de flores, zapatos de tacón en color crema y complementos de joyería en dorado. Para quienes no tuvieron la oportunidad de ver como fue la combinación anterior -con un par de jeans acampanados, tacones con estampado en beige, vinotinto y gris y zarcillos llamativos-, o sencillamente quieren refrescar la memoria, pueden verlo aquí.

Los estampados son para disfrutarlos, porque dan un estilo relajado y fresco, además de ser muy femeninos. Combinados con piezas unicolores permiten crear looks interesantes. Esta falda en particular, además de la tela tan hermosa con la que está elaborada tiene un corte que da bastante estructura al cuerpo, resultando muy halagador para aquellas mujeres como yo que tienen figura de rectángulo.

Prints were created to love them! They are fresh, stylish and feminine and combined with one-color pieces the results can be really interesting. Leaving aside the fact the fabric of this flowered skirt is trully beautiful, it also has a flattering cut that enhances bodies like mine, with rectangular shapes.

A veces hacer un cambio en los complementos hace pura magia para tener un outfit "completamente nuevo"! Así es que aparte de esta colorida falda (que también vieron por acá hace un tiempito con un top beige sin mangas), sumé unos zarcillos redondos y utilicé este delicado choker de lunas para poder adornar el cuello de una manera balanceada entre todos los elementos.

Sometimes making changes in the accessories give us pure magic to get a "new outfit", so besides wearing this colorful skirt (that you have already seen over here mixed with a beige sleeveless top some weeks ago), I added a delicate moon choker and small rounded earrings to embelish my neck in a balanced way among all the elements.

Tener un buen fondo de armario -elaborado con prendas clásicas como esta chaqueta y con piezas unicolores que sean fáciles de mezclar- aunado al hecho de poner la imaginación a volar para reinventarnos son claves cuando no disponemos de tantísimos recursos, por eso las invito a que salgan de su zona de confort, se tomen un poquito de tiempo para revisar el clóset con detenimiento y hagan sus propias combinaciones. Having great wardrobe essentials -done with classics like this jacket and one-color pieces that are easy to combine- plus the fact of using imagination to reinvent ourselves with the same clothes are  two important keys when we don´t have enough resources.
