El post de hoy es un poco distinto a los que usualmente les traigo con propuestas de looks. Por qué? Porque siempre les hablo de los básicos que deben formar parte del clóset de cualquiera de nosotras, aquellos que son tan versátiles e indispensables que nos permiten crear infinidad de outfits. Pero cuáles son esas piezas que se han convertido en un "must have"? Aquellas que nunca pasan de moda y que sirven como base al momento de vestirnos porque permanecen atemporales a pesar de los cambios de temporada año tras año.
La lista incluye:
1) La clásica camisa blanca: la verdad es una de las prendas que más me gusta. Puede ser manga larga o corta. Les confieso que tengo cuatro con distintos cortes porque son elegantísimas, visten bastante y nos permiten reinventar un look agregando accesorios -collares, bufandas- u otros elementos superpuestos -como chaquetas- a la misma pieza.

2) La camisa negra: Es la opuesta en tonalidad a la anterior, pero tan igual de neutra que resulta fabulosa a la hora de realizar cualquier combinación. Es la favorita de muchos hombres y coincido con ellos en que también debemos incluirlas en nuestros guardarropas.
2) A fancy black shirt: Is the opposite hue respect to the former item, but equally neutral! It is fabulous when making any combination and it is the preferred piece of clothing of men, so I agree with them: we must include a black shirt in our closets.
3) Un par de denims azules: preferiblemente de corte recto y en color índigo (que visualmente estiliza la figura). Tengo amigas que me han dicho que tienen más de diez! Yo quisiera ser tan afortunada, jajaja, pues aunque los adoro, tengo muchos menos en mi armario. Es la prenda preferida de hombres y mujeres y su versatilidad es tal que nos permite ir al trabajo, a una reunión familiar y hasta una fiesta.

4) Un par de pantalones clásicos de vestir: que sean unicolores para que sean multifuncionales. Sirven para la oficina o para una ocasión formal donde queramos estar relajadas y bien vestidas al mismo tiempo.

5) Una falda clásica: el poder que tiene esta prenda para exaltar nuestra femineidad debería hacernos pensar en la necesidad de tener tres como mínimo: una mini, una midi y una maxi! Lo importante es que den buena forma al cuerpo y que sean de colores neutros. El toque de color en el look se lo podemos dar con otras prendas que estén en tendencia.

Con tan sólo variarle los zapatos, él cambia! Y si le agregamos medias panty, un buen collar o zarcillos grandes y lo combinamos con distintas carteras, siempre lucirá distinto. Es cuestión de poner a volar la imaginación!

9) Bailarinas o flats: los adorados zapatos chatos sin tacón que puso de moda la icónica Audrey Hepburn. Nos hacen ver presentables, bellas y cómodas a la vez.
10) Zapatos deportivos: para días en los que caminar con rapidez y comodidad sea primera necesidad. También son perfectos para looks "sporty chic" y mamis que tengan que cargar bebés a cuestas. Igualmente son indispensables si necesitamos ejercitarnos.
11) Zapatos negros de tacón: hablan por sí solos. Te harán lucir regia y perfecta porque van con todo.

Una de las ventajas de tener un buen fondo de armario es que podemos combinar las piezas entre sí, mezclándolas entre ellas o con otras prendas que estén en tendencia. Escoge siempre la que mejor te quede: no es necesario tener diez modelos de cada una. Da prioridad a la calidad seleccionando aquellas que tengan un corte impecable y una tela resistente para que se mantengan lo más intactas posibles.
Esa particularmente es mi lista, pensada en las nenas que viven en el trópico como yo, pero para quienes viven en lugares con cuatro estaciones les recomiendo agregar un abrigo largo (trench coat) de lana que les mantendrá bien protegidas durante el invierno, así como un par de botas.

One of the advantages about having wardrobe essentials is that we can mix pieces between them or with trendy apparel. Remember to choose the one that fits you best: it´s not necessary to have ten of each. Prioritize quiality selecting those with a flawless cut and a resistant fabric to keep them intact.
For those girls who live in places with four seasons, I suggest you to add a trench coat to be protected during winter and a pair of boots.
